The Brief

This was a campaign for the Malaysian market to visit the Gold Coast in Australia

With this campaign, we were challenged to change the old Gold Coast narrative of sea, sun, surf and theme parks to one that appeals to today's younger travellers.

What We Did

Understanding that an abrupt shift of perceptions was needed, the campaign was carefully crafted to depict less of the travel clichés of old, and featured art and copy that was more in line with inspiring instagram/tumblr-esque travel imagery of today.

The message was clear and simple. When you embrace Gold Coast Australia, you embrace new perspectives of travel.

This project invloved teams in Malaysia and Australia coming together to execute this campaign.
